Last year, Westmont provided 95 percent of first year and transfer students financial aid. The college committed a significant amount in aid: $39M. The Westmont Fund is the lifeblood of student scholarships and reduces financial barriers for students from all economic backgrounds, helping them to pursue a high-caliber Christian liberal arts education at Westmont.
Engrave a Brick
There is more than one way to support Westmont on Giving Tuesday!
During the Giving Tuesday window, selecting your brick to engrave and install in the Formal Gardens, the amount counts toward our $50,000 challenge match.
Hundreds of bricks have now been installed in a special location that plays a starring role in First Walk and Commencement for Westmont students. The brick path reminds new and graduating students of the community they are part of and the generations that go before them.
The pathway has had a first phase of bricks installed (May) and second phase is being installed this week. Additional bricks will be installed in phases.
Bricks remain available to purchase and engrave after the Giving Tuesday window as well.
To engrave your brick:
- Select a brick size from the options available.
- Add your name or special message to be seen by future generations.
- Secure your brick today to take part in Giving Tuesday.
- That's it. Gifts for bricks November 26-December 3 will be included in the Giving Tuesday grand total.
Thank you for supporting Westmont students on Giving Tuesday!
